Cheesin’ at the Southern Terminus
Hey everyone! This is gonna be a Pacific Crest Trail blog for the next couple of months, I’ll try to post a few times a week at least, or whenever I have service so that you know I’m still alive :) There’s probably going to be lots of photos of nature and long boring captions about eating trail mix and getting blisters. If you’re into that kinda stuff keep following me haha.
Today was tough.
Physically it was pretty easy because it was relatively flat and the weather was super cool.
Mentally it all kind of hit me what I’ve gotten myself into. Saying bye to Dylan a couple of days ago was really tough and then saying by to my family today hit hard as well. Love you guys!! Anyways, I left the border at around 3:30pm and hiked till 7:30pm. it was super pretty with all the wildflowers and I met some other guys in their early twenties about 12 miles in and we all walked the rest of the way to the stream where we’re all camping for the night.
Looking forward to tomorrow! Hopefully I’m not too sore 😬
